Our Orchestra Serves ALL Levels:

Our Youth Orchestra program serves students in grades 1-12 and beyond with a total of six orchestras comprised of Beginning Strings, Prelude Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Youth Symphony and Youth Philharmonic. Our program teaches students from beginners through advanced players and we focus on violin, viola, cello and bass classes delivered in an orchestral setting. Our students learn to play their instrument, read music, play in an ensemble and become competent orchestral musicians. In order to learn more about these ensembles, please visit the Programs page. New students need to audition into the program for proper placement, please see audition information here.​

​Rehearsal Dates and Times:

Our ensembles have different rehearsal times and days. You can see the schedule at a glance here - this is our master schedule and any changes to our schedule (hurricane days or special events) will be added here. Should you have any questions, please send us an email at artisticdirector@npys.org.​

Gather at 10:00 a.m. at the NPB Library. 

Logistics:

  • Begin marching at 11:00 a.m.

  • Little ones can ride on our float :)

  • Friends can be invited

  • We will end the march at Anchorage Park and I can provide rides back to the library for anyone who needs them. 

  • Wear sunscreen!
