Youth Symphony - Spring 2025

Service Description

Students in Youth Symphony are experienced orchestral players with strong reading abilities and playing fundamentals. The artistry and musicianship of the individual will be developed and elevated as the group reaches for musical mastery through a widely diverse selection of repertoire. This repertoire will range from classical masterworks to other genres. Students can expect rehearsals to be engaging, high energy / intensive and focused. We will be developing technique and musicianship all while learning challenging repertoire. Students will have access to coaching / mentoring opportunities, leadership development, volunteer work and varied community performances and in addition to concerts. This package includes: - Twelve (13) 1.5 hour intensive, engaging rehearsals - Multiple concerts and performing opportunities - Mentorship, teaching and volunteer opportunities - All music + Music folder - String pedagogy delivered by a veteran educator / clinician / active performer - Additional performance opportunities ** Entry to this group is audition based. We assist all incoming families with placement into the groups. *** Mentoring, volunteering and other opportunities will be shared directly to participating parents and students via email once sessions start.
